A Practitioner of Energy Medicine acts as a transducer much like a battery to transform, conduct and channel Life Force Energy - the Infinite Power of the Universe into the recipient's body for the purpose of relaxation, healing, or insight
What is Energy and Energy Medicine?
In physics, energy is considered a measured property that is transferred to an object in order to heat it or work on it in some way. Energy can be converted in form, but not destroyed or created. Energy is in everything – it's all around us in many forms. Energy exists as potential energy, thermal energy, kinetic, electrical, chemical, nuclear, and various other forms.
Nearly all the energy from food originally comes from sunlight (radiant energy). We can see sunlight, but we cannot see it passing through plants and animals where it is then converted into an energy source. Living organisms require energy to stay alive. When we eat, our body uses chemical energy. When we turn on the computer, we use electricity, which is kinetic energy used to create the sounds and images on the screen. Energy is used every time something grows, moves, gets warm, cools down, makes a sound, or changes in some way. What about an inanimate object that is not moving? It still has energy – it is just not using it. This type of energy is called potential energy or stored energy
Since the time of the Big Bang, various types of potential energy have transformed over time and were later released and then transformed into more active types of energy such as radiant and kinetic. Energy may be transformed between different forms of input and output systems. Items that transform between these forms are called transducers. An example of a transducer is a battery, which transforms chemical energy into electric energy. This brings us to Energy Medicine. A Practitioner of Energy Medicine acts as a transducer much like a battery. Only, the practitioner is transforming and conducting Ki, Qi, Prana, Mana, Ch'ulel, Sekhem into the body of the client to either be stored as potential energy or used immediately for healing the body, the mind, or the emotions.
So, now you may be wondering, “What is Ki, Qi, Prana, Mana, Ch'ulel, and Sekhem? These are all simply terms used in various spiritual beliefs from different cultures around the world to describe Life Force Energy. Ki is a Japanese term, Qi is Chinese, Prana is Hindu from India, Mana is a Hawaiian term, Ch'ulel is Mayan, and Sekhem is from Ancient Egypt. Each of these words all describe an unseen, subtle life force energy that moves in and around us. This energy is considered the source of all existence.
Some people have the natural ability to see, hear, or feel this life-force energy as well as other types of unseen energies. If you don't, not to worry... The ability to sense invisible energies can be developed. If you are curious to know more, you can book a 60 minute lesson here:
